Fila Flip is an on going electronic project formed in New York around 1997 when the guys started acquiring the components of a recording studio.The studio itself was work in progress as new instruments were added, existing ones repaired and upgraded or modified. All Fila Flip tracks are written, performed, recorded and arranged by DJ Fila Flip and are based on intuitive sonic manipulation.

What they like, is not what they sound like but think Seefeel, Cocteau Twins, Aphex twin, BT, Warp label, Hybrid and even Daft Punk......anything - and your on the right lines.

Their music can truly be called Eklektik Elektronika, as all genres are open to treatment, and also our influences as well as sound particles are gathered from anything and everything, including rare vinyl, gleaned from countless hours of 'digging', and local environment recordings made on mini disc or dat and even cassettes, as well as 'found sonic artifacts' which crop up from time to time in our sound files, often caused by 'data corruption', or even more so due to lack of 'technical abilities' within the ever complex maze of the digital domain.
